Season 1

The first series of Travel Oz starts on Christmas Island - the annual red crab migration, and swimming with a giant whale shark that comes right up to our camera. We’ll drive across Australia, past Broken Hill, the Flinders Ranges, the opal fields of Coober Pedy, wildlife of Uluru, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Darwin, Kakadu and the Tiwi Islands. From goat racing in Lightning Ridge to kangaroos in the snow at Tumut. From Australia Day celebrations, and Lord Howe Island to Canberra, and the outback festival at Winton. This series ends with THE SPIRIT OF AUSTRALIA - a tribute to Australia’s wonderful characters.

Season 2

Series 2 takes us to Australia’s Antarctic territory, to Mawson's Hut, giant penguin colonies, the Mertz Glacier and Macquarie Island. We’ll meet the Cocos Islanders with a Cocos Malay wedding, go ashore on bird paradise North Keeling Island and swim with a friendly dugong. We’ll watch footy finals in the Twi Islands and join the Corroboree Family as they hunt and eat honey ants. From Montague Island with its colony of fairy penguins onto the Apollo Bay music festival, even the Kokoda Track. An action packed series, with destinations featured including the Great Lakes, the Great Victorian Bike ride, and high adventure in the Kimberly with a cattle muster, Horizontal waterfalls and Broome pearls.

Season 3

Series 3 of Travel Oz takes us all over Australia, from the wild Kimberly in Western Australia to the outer edges of the Great Barrier Reef. In this series, we pay tribute to the Heroes of Australia, and follow bush balladeers. We paddle down the Murray River, from source to sea, and take a road trip between Melbourne and Sydney. We’ll fly in a vintage plane across Australia to Karumba, then out to Haggerstone Island on the Reef. Entire specials have been devoted to sport, marine encounters and wildlife islands. While Travel Oz features destinations as diverse as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, King Island and the Outback floods.

Season 4

Series 4 of Travel Oz lets us explore some fascinating new destinations in Australia, but also takes us back to some wonderful icons, like the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. We’ll travel abroad as well, taking in the wonders of Dubai, and some secret treasures in the USA: Utah, Dallas-Fort Worth and Nevada. Some of the gems of series 4 include the Canola Trail, iridescent yellow fields of blooming canola between Temora and Junee. We’ll discover the food and wine gems of South Australia, the friendly whales of Hervey Bay. And go tuna fishing off Portland in far western Victoria. From outback NSW with its Celtic festivals and cotton picking, to Victoria with its gold fields and border tracks.
